what’s in your hand? Now, this one is so powerful I don’t want you to miss it. Your resources, your ransom.
Yes! your resources are your ransom, they are your deliverance, your resources.
God said to Moses, what do you have in your hand? what do you have in your hand?
It is a rod. God; I need it. I need it. Put it on the ground. Whatever he recognized as something that he had, was what God was going to use because at that time of his life, he was a shepherd and the only authority that he had over those animals was his rod.
WHAT’S IN YOUR HAND?
So when God said: what’s in your hand? he could have passed it from hand to hand and said nothing but he says :
I got a rod God sir. Put it down the ground. He put it on the ground and by the time God was through, the bible says:
Moses took the rod of God. It’s transformed from Moses rods to the rod of God.
Oh! imagine if your business became God’s business. Imagine if your money became God’s money, imagine that your resources became God’s resources.
what will happen in your life? The things that God has given you, they’re not only for you to enjoy and wear them and enjoy them.
The time may come when God says you need to use this for the next level. It will be your shoes, maybe your gold, maybe your money, your house, your car.
But God says: now I need this to deliver you from trouble ahead. I need this, the change in cars is happening in the spirit.
I can see it, but what’s in your hand? I want to make you a deliverer. What do you have in your hand? I want you to save the lives of others.
A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
2 A man shall eat well by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.
3 He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
5 A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
6 Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
8 The ransom of a man’s life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
WHAT’S IN YOUR HAND?
The Bible says the soul of the sluggard desire it but he will not act, therefore he shall have what nothing but the soul of the diligent; (and I love the fact that he says the soul because your prosperity begins from your soul)
The soul of the diligent, before ever you begin to experience real prosperity on the outside there’s prosperity on the inside and if you have it inside the one outside takes control of your social life from your inside.
look at the next one this is verse five a righteous man hated lying but a wicked man is not.
Now verse seven, there is that made himself rich yet had nothing. he’s made himself rich but he has nothing. He has prospered by his way but God says this is nothing.
your cars are nothing, your houses are nothing, your money in the bank is nothing.
That’s what the story possibly told us earlier today about that man who was, who thought he was so rich. Two years later he lost everything.
Why? because the prosperity was not inside. Had it been inside it wouldn’t matter. The numbers wouldn’t matter, he would have it inside him. The jar will still be there.
It doesn’t matter what the figures are and he will continue to experience the same prosperity.
Present or absent, physical things make no difference. The Bible says ‘a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of things that he possesses.
Hallelujah! theories that make it himself rich yet had nothing. There is that maketh himself poor yet had great riches.
listen in Hebrew there’s something interesting about this there are different words for the poor in Hebrew.
This particular one is the poor that brought himself to that situation, some inherited poverty so when make poor by others but this Rouge brought himself into poverty by setting things that he did or didn’t do.
You know, every time you study the book of Proverbs, do you know what you’re listening to?
you’re listening to Jesus, he is the embodiment of wisdom.
When we share the Word of God with you, your wealth is your deliverance. A man’s wealth is his ransom, that’s your ransom.
When you win, you win. you’re there and you hear about tithes, about offerings. Don’t get angry it is the kingdom lifestyle.
It is a requirement in the kingdom of God. it is an association with him. it’s our relationship with him, it’s called training in righteousness.
If you’re not doing it then you’re cheating yourself, you’re discrediting yourself. hallelujah!
look at this verse, here they say wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished but he that gathereth by label shall increase.
Wealth got by vanity. What’s vanity?
All actions of this world that are not based on the Word of God, that’s vanity. And whatever you receive in this world outside the Word of God has no foundation.
